Ofcom olarak bilinen İletişim Ofisi, Birleşik Krallık'ın yayın, telekomünikasyon ve posta sanayileri için hükümet tarafından onaylanmış düzenleyici ve rekabet otoritesidir. Ofcom, televizyon, radyo, telekomünikasyon ve posta sektörlerinde geniş kapsamlı yetkilere sahiptir. Rekabetin teşvik edilmesi ve halkın zararlı veya rahatsız edici materyalden korunması vatandaşların ve tüketicilerin çıkarlarını temsil etmekle yasal bir yükümlüye sahiptir. Ofcom'un başkanlık ettiği bazı ana alanlar lisanslama, araştırma, kodlar ve politikalar, şikayetler, rekabet ve radyo spektrumunu istismardan korumaktır. Düzenleyici ilk olarak 2002 İletişim Yasası Bürosu tarafından kuruldu ve 2003 yılı İletişim Yasası'ndan tam yetkisini aldı.
