Pablum, 1931'de Mead Johnson Company tarafından pazarlanan bebekler için işlenmiş bir tahıldır. Marka adı, "gıda maddeleri" anlamına gelen Latince "pabulum" kelimesinin sözleşmeli bir formudur. Adı uzun süredir botanikte ve tıbbın içinde, besleyici unsurların emici olarak absorbe edildiği maddelere atıf yapmak için kullanılmıştır.
