Yama testi
Yama testi, spesifik bir maddenin bir hastanın cildinde alerjik enflamasyona neden olup olmadığını belirlemek için kullanılan bir yöntemdir. Allerjik temas dermatiti ve / veya atopik dermatitten şüphelenilen herhangi bir şahsın yama testine ihtiyacı vardır. Yama testi, hangi maddenin bir hastada gecikmiş tip allerjik reaksiyona neden olduğunu belirlemeye yardımcı olur ve kan testi veya cilt prick testi ile tanımlanmayan alerjenleri belirleyebilir. Seyreltilmiş kimyasalların ekildiği küçük bir bölgeye, hastanın sırtında yerel bir alerjik reaksiyon üretmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yama test kiti içerisindeki kimyasal maddeler, temas alerjik egzamasının yaklaşık yüzde 85-90'ında suç ortağıdır ve metaller, kauçuk, deri, formaldehit, lanolin, koku, banyo malzemeleri, saç boyaları, ilaç, farmasötik ürünler, gıda maddelerinde bulunan kimyasalları içerir , içecek, koruyucu ve diğer katkılar. 2005-06 yılları arasındaki üst alerjenler şunlardı: Nikel sülfat, Peru Balsam ve koku karışımı I.
