Bir pentod, beş aktif elektrota sahip olan bir elektronik cihazdır. Bu terim, en yaygın olarak 1926 yılında Hollandalı Bernhard DH Tellegen tarafından icat edilen üç ızgara amplifikatörlü bir vakum tüpü için geçerlidir.
