Phenetics
Biyolojide, taksonomik olarak da bilinen fenetics / fɨnɛtɪks /, organizmaları, genellikle filogenez ya da evrimsel ilişkisinden bağımsız olarak, morfoloji ya da diğer gözlenebilir özelliklerde genel benzerliğe dayalı bir sınıflandırma girişimidir. Taksonomik sınıflandırma için sayısal yöntemlerin kullanımı ile ilgili sayısal taksonomiyle yakından ilişkilidir. Birçok kişi fenetik gelişimine katkıda bulundular fakat en etkili olanı Peter Sneath ve Robert R. Sokal idi. Kitapları hala bu alt disiplin için birincil referanslar halindedir, ancak şimdi biraz tarihli ve basılı değildir.
