Phragmoplast
Phragmoplast, geç sitokinesis sırasında oluşan bir bitki hücresine özgü yapıdır. Hücre plakası montajı ve ardından iki kızı hücresini ayıran yeni hücre duvarının oluşturulması için bir iskelet görevi görür. Fragmoplast, anafaz ve telefaz sırasında gelecekteki hücre plakasının düzlemine dik iki karşıt set halinde bir araya getiren, mikrotübüllerin, mikrofilamanların ve endoplazmik retikülüm elementlerinin kompleks bir birleşimidir. Başlangıçta namlunun şeklindedir ve iki çekirdek çekirdeği arasındaki mitotik iğden oluşurken, nükleer zarflar onlar etrafında toplanır. Hücre plakası başlangıçta, fragmoplast yapısının iki yarısı arasında bir disk şeklinde oluşur. Yeni hücre plakası materyali büyüyen plakanın kenarlarına eklenirken, fragmoplast mikrotübülleri ortada kaybolur ve büyüyen hücre plakasının kenarlarında yenilenirler. İki yapı bölünen hücrenin dış duvarına gelene kadar dışa doğru büyür. Eğer hücrede bir fragmozom mevcutsa, fragmoplast ve hücre plakası, fragmosome tarafından işgal edilen alan boyunca büyür. Ebeveyn hücre duvarı, daha önce ön-profil bandı tarafından işgal edilmiş olan pozisyona gelecektir.
