Fikoeritrin
Fikoeritrin, fotosentezden sorumlu ana klorofil pigmentlerine ek olarak, kırmızı yosun ve kriptofitlerde bulunan, hafif hasat fıbobiliprotein ailesinden gelen kırmızı bir protein pigment kompleksidir. Tüm phycobiliproteinler gibi, phycobilinler adı verilen kromoforları kovalent olarak bağlayan bir protein kısmı oluşur. Fikoeritrin ailede, en bilinen fitobiklinler şunlardır: fitoeritrobilin, tipik fitoeritrin alıcısı kromoforu ve bazen de fenokrobilin. Fikoeritrinler, genellikle disk şekilli bir trimer 3 veya hekzamer 6 şeklinde düzenlenmiş monomerlerden oluşur. Bu tipik kompleksler, aynı zamanda, γ zincirinin üçüncü tip alt birimi içerir. En çok sayıda phycobiline'i bağlayan fitobisiliproteinler.
