Bir Pleximetre, plexor'dan vuruş tarafından üretilen enerjiyi emmek için vurmalı çalmada kullanılan bir cihazdır. Perküsyon sırasında incelemecinin elindeki orta parmak pleximetre olarak rutin olarak kullanılır. Muayene eden kişinin sol elinin parmağı göğüs duvarına sıkıca uygulanır ve göğüs duvarı ile pelvis arasındaki ortadaki havayı yerinden oynatır ve plexor, pleximetrenin orta falanksına çarpar.
