Botanikte, bir pome, Rosaceae ailesinin Malinala alt ölçeğinde çiçekli bitkiler tarafından üretilen bir meyve türüdür. Bir pome, aksesuar dokusu ile çevrili bir veya daha fazla perdeden oluşan aksesuar bir meyvedir. Aksesuar dokusu bazı uzmanlar tarafından haznenin bir uzantısı olarak yorumlanır ve daha sonra "meyve korteksi" olarak ve diğerleri tarafından kaynaşmış bir hipanthium veya "torus" olarak adlandırılır; Bu meyvenin yenilebilir kısmı budur.
