Radar
Radar, nesnelerin aralığını, yüksekliğini, yönünü veya hızını belirlemek için radyo dalgalarını kullanan bir nesne algılama sistemidir. Uçak, gemi, uzay aracı, rehberli füzeler, motorlu araçlar, hava oluşumları ve arazileri tespit etmek için kullanılabilir. Radar çanağı veya anten, yollarındaki herhangi bir nesneyi sıçratan radyo dalgaları veya mikrodalgalar darbelerini iletir. Nesne, dalganın enerjisinin ufak bir kısmını genellikle verici ile aynı yerde bulunan bir çanak veya antene döndürür.
