Radyoaktif bozunma
Nükleer bozunma veya radyoaktivite olarak da bilinen radyoaktif bozunma, dengesiz bir atom çekirdeğinin iyonize radyasyonu yayarak enerjisini kaybettiği süreçtir. Alfa parçacıklarının, beta parçacıklarının ve gama ışınlarının emisyonunu içeren bu tür radyasyonu kendiliğinden yayan bir materyal radyoaktif kabul edilir.
