Roscommon, İrlanda'daki İlçe Roscommon ilçesidir. N60, N61 ve N63 yollarının toplantının yakınında, kabaca İrlanda'nın merkezine yerleşti. Roscommon ismi 5. yüzyılda bir manastır inşa eden Coman mac Faelchon'dan türetilmiştir. Manastırın yakınındaki ormanlar Ros Comáin olarak bilinirdi. Bu daha sonra Roscommon'a körü köreltildi. 2006 nüfus sayımındaki nüfusu 5.017 idi. Kasabanın kendisi nispeten küçük bir nüfusa sahip olmasına rağmen, ilçedeki tek büyük şehir olan Boyle olduğu için, ilçe Roscommon nüfusunun yaklaşık yarısına hitap etmektedir.
