Samarit adaları Samaritanizmin taraftarları, Yahudilik ile yakından bağlantılı olan Abrahamcı bir dindir. Samaritan'lılar, Samaritalılar, ibadetlerinin, Yahudilikten ziyade İsrail Topraklarında kalanlar tarafından korunan, Babil Sürgünden önceki eski İsraillilerin gerçek dini olduğunu söylüyorlar; değiştirilmiş din, Babil sürgününden dönenler tarafından geri getirildi.
