Franz Peter Schubert Avusturyalı bir besteci idi. Schubert, 32 yaşın altında kısa bir ömrü, yaklaşık 600 Lieder, on tam ya da neredeyse kompleks senfoni, litürjik müzik, opera, tesadüfi müzik ve geniş bir oda ve solo piyano müziği kompozisyonu yazan üretken bir besteci idi.
