Scravy, insanlarda kollajenin sentezi için gerekli C vitaminin eksikliğinden kaynaklanan bir hastalıktır. C vitamini, askorbik asit için kimyasal adı, aynı zamanda sıfat scorbuti sağlayan scurvy, scorbutus Latince adından türetilmiştir.
