Kar ayakkabısı tavşanı, değişen tavşan veya kar ayakkabısı tavşanı olarak da bilinir, Kuzey Amerika'da bulunan bir tavşan türüdür. Arka ayakları büyüklüğünden ve kuyruğunun yaprakları izlerinden dolayı "snowshoe" ismi vardır. Hayvan ayağı fırlatıp yürürken karın içine batmasını önler. Ayaklarının donma sıcaklıklarından korumak için tabanları kürklidir. Kamuflaj için, kürkü kışın beyaza, yaz boyunca paslı kahverengiye döner. Onun yanları yıl boyu beyazdır.
