Teselli, konsolosyon ve yalnızlık, sevilen kişinin ölümü gibi ağır, üzücü kayıplarla karşılaşan birisine verilen psikolojik rahatlamaya atıf yapan terimlerdir. Genellikle, bu kayıptan dolayı paylaşılan pişmanlığı ifade ederek ve gelecekteki olumlu olaylar için umut vurgulayarak sağlanmaktadır. Teselli, tarihte, sanatta, felsefede ve psikolojide ortaya çıkan önemli bir konudur.
