SUBTIDAL SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?
Kıyı bölgesi
Kıyısal bölge, kıyıya yakın olan bir deniz, göl veya nehrin parçasıdır. Kıyısal ortamlarda, kıyı bölgesi, nadiren su altında kalmış yüksek su izinden kalıcı olarak batık olan kıyı alanlarına kadar uzanıyor. Her zaman bu ara-kesimleri kapsar ve çoğunlukla ara-tabaka bölgesi ile aynı anlamı taşımaktadır. Bununla birlikte, "kıyıdaş bölgenin" anlamı, ara yüzeyler arası bölgenin çok ötesine uzanabilir. Tek bir tanım yoktur. Kıyıdaş bölgenin tam kapsamı ve kıyı kuşağının alt bölgelere bölünme biçimi, farklı bağlamlarda değişir. Terimin kullanımı aynı zamanda dünyanın bir bölümünden diğerine ve farklı disiplinler arasında değişir.
