İsviçre Muhafızları, 15. yüzyılın sonlarından beri yabancı Avrupa mahkemelerinde muhafız olarak görev yapan İsviçre askerleri. Küçük ev ve saray birimlerinin yanı sıra, İsviçre paralı askerî alayları çeşitli orduda düzenli askeri birlikler görev yapıyor; Özellikle Fransa, İspanya ve Napoli'dekiler. Günümüzde, İsviçreli Muhafızlar genellikle Roma'daki Vatikan'da konuşlanan Pontifical Swiss Guard of Holy See'a atıfta bulunmaktadır. İsviçre, yüzlerce yıldır ünlü paralı askerlerdi. İsviçre zayıf bir ülke olduğu için, genç erkekler sıklıkla disiplin ve sadakat konusunda şöhreti olan ve devrimci savaş taktiklerini kullanarak şanslarını yurt dışına çıkardı. 16. yüzyılın başlarında Landsknechte tarafından yöntemleri geliştirilene kadar, 15. yüzyılın en güçlü askerleri olarak görülüyorlardı.
