Tacitus
Publius Cornelius Tacitus, senatör ve Roma İmparatorluğu'nun tarihçisidir. İki büyük eseri olan Annals and the Histories'in kalan bölümleri, Roma İmparatorları Tiberius, Claudius, Nero ve Dört İmparatorun Yılında hüküm sürenlerin hükümdarlığını inceliyor. Bu iki eser, MS 14 yılındaki Augustus'un ölümünden MS 70'teki İlk Yahudi-Roma Savaşı yıllarına kadar Roma İmparatorluğu'nun tarihini kapsar. Hayatta kalan metinlerde, Annals'de dört boşluk bulunan bir boşluk var kitaplar uzun.
