Test Yasası, kamu görevlisi için dini bir sınav niteliği taşıyan ve Roma Katolikleri ve Uyumsuzluklar üzerine çeşitli sivil engelleri uygulayan bir dizi İngiliz ceza yasası idi. Prensip, Kuruluş Kilisesi'nde hâkim olanların hiçbirinin kamuda istihdam edilmesine elverişli olmamasıydı ve Katolik veya Uyuşmacı olmasa da recusantlara karşı şiddet içeren cezalar bu ilkenin doğrulamalarıydı. Uygulamada, uyumsuzluklar, Tazminat Yasaları'nın düzenli bir şekilde geçişi yoluyla bu yasaların bazılarından genellikle muaf tutuldu.

Sözlükte Test Yasası tanımı, 1673'te İngiltere'de, Katolik halkı Kraliyet katibi gibi ordu subayları gibi görev yapan tüm kişilerin Anglikan Cemaatini kabul etmesini ve bir Katolik'e yasaklanan diğer eylemleri gerçekleştirmesini gerektirerek Katolikleri kamu hayatından uzaklaştırmak için geçirilen bir yasadır : 1828'de yürürlükten kalktı.
