Ticaret Açıklamaları Yasası 1968
1968 Ticaret Açıklamaları Yasası, üreticilerin, perakendecilerin veya hizmet endüstrisi sağlayıcılarının tüketicileri paralarını harcadıkları şey konusunda yanıltmalarını önleyen Birleşik Krallık Parlamentosu'nun bir kanunudur. Bu yasa yargıyı, sattıkları ürünler veya hizmetler hakkında yanlış iddia eden şirketler veya kişileri cezalandırmaya güç verir. Mallara sahte bir ticaret açıklamasının yapılması sıkı bir sorumluluk suçudur: tanımın uygulandığı ve yanlış olduğu gösterilirse, sanık mahkumiyetten kaçmak için bazı savunmaları kanıtlamalıdır. Satılan her ürün, açıklanan, tatmin edici nitelikte olmalı ve açıkça belirtilmeli veya satış noktalarında belirtilmelidir. "Amaçla uyum" sadece bir maddenin bariz amacını değil aynı zamanda müşterinin sorgularının ve tüccarın verdiği güvencelerin sonucunda satış noktasında belirlenen her amaca da yöneliktir. Hizmetlere ilişkin yanlış tanımlamalar, erkeklerin daha normal kanıtlarını gerektirir. Kanun, arazi ve binalarla ilgili konuları hariç tutmakta ve şimdi 1991 tarihli Mülkiyet Yanılgılarının Azaltılması Yasası hükümleri kapsamında ele alınmaktadır.
