Triyot
Bir üçlü, boşaltılan bir cam zarfın içinde üç elektrottan oluşan elektronik amplifikatörlü bir vakum tüpüdür: Isıtılmış filament veya katot, ızgaralı ve bir plaka. 1906'da Lee De Forest tarafından Fleming vanasına bir ızgara ekleyerek icat edilen triyot, ilk elektronik amplifikasyon cihazı ve tetrode ve pentot gibi diğer vakum tüplerinin atasıydı. Buluşu, elektronik çağını kurarak mümkün olan genişlemiş radyo teknolojisini ve uzun mesafeli telefon yapmayı mümkün kıldı. Sözcük, orijinal olarak üç yolun bir araya geldiği yeri belirten üçlü ve hodólardan gelen Yunan tırnaklarının türevlerinden türetilmiştir.
