Usury, haksız olarak borç veren kişiyi zenginleştirmeye yönelik etik olmayan veya ahlak dışı para kredileri yapma uygulamasıdır. Bir kredi, aşırı veya kötüye kullanan faiz oranları veya diğer faktörler yüzünden alelacılığa mahkum edilebilir, ancak bazı sözlüklere göre, sadece herhangi bir faiz ödememek sadece tefecilik olarak kabul edilebilir.
