Vibronik kuplaj
Bir molekülde vibronik kuplaj, elektronik ve nükleer titreşim hareketi arasındaki etkileşimi içerir. "Vibronik" terimi "titreşimsel" ve "elektronik" terimlerinin kombinasyonundan kaynaklanmaktadır. Kaplin kelimesi, bir molekülde titreşimsel ve elektronik etkileşimlerin birbiriyle ilişkili olduğu ve birbirlerini etkilediği fikrini ifade eder ve vibronik bağlantının büyüklüğü bu tür bağlantının derecesini yansıtır. Teorik kimyada, vibronic bağlanma, Born-Oppenheimer yaklaşımında ihmal edilir. Vibronic kaplinler, özellikle konik kavşak noktalarının yakınında, yalın olmayan süreçlerin anlaşılması için önemlidir. Vibronic kaplinlerin doğrudan hesaplanması, değerlendirmesiyle ilgili zorluklardan dolayı yaygın değildir.
