İbranice yazımda niqqud veya nikkud, ünlüleri temsil etmek veya İbranice alfabedeki harflerin alternatif telaffuzlarını ayırmak için kullanılan bir aksan işaretleri sistemidir. Erken Ortaçağ'da böylesine aksiyomatik sistemler geliştirilmiştir. En yaygın sistem ve bugün hala önemli bir derecede kullanılan tek kişi, İsrail topraklarındaki ilk binyıl CE'nin ikinci yarısında Tiberias Masörle- ri tarafından yaratılmıştır. Niqqud ile yazılmış metinlere ktiv menuqad denir. Niqq işaretleri ünsüzlerle karşılaştırıldığında çok küçük olduğundan, yazarları tahmin etmeyen metinleri tekrar tekrar yazmadan eklenebilir. Modern İsrail yazıtlarında nikquard, sözlükler, şiirler veya çocuklar için ya da yeni göç edenler için metinler gibi uzmanlaşmış metinler haricinde nadiren kullanılmaz. Benzeşimsizlik amacıyla İbranice'de ktiv maleh olarak bilinen nikqd kullanılmayan bir yazım sistemi geliştirildi. Bu, resmi olarak 1996'da İbranice Dili Akademisi tarafından yürürlüğe konan Niqqud olmadan Yazım Kurallarında standartlaştırılmıştır.
