Hesaplamalı dilbilimde sözcük anlamıyla açıklık getirme, kelimenin birden fazla anlam içerdiği durumlarda, bir cümlede hangi kelimenin anlamının kullanıldığını tanımlayan işlemi yöneten doğal dil işleme ve ontolojinin açık bir sorundur. Bu sorunun çözümü, söylem gibi diğer bilgisayarla ilgili yazmaları, arama motorlarının alaka düzeyini arttırma, anafor çözünürlüğü, tutarlılık, çıkarım vb. Sonuçlarını etkiler.
