ZEOLITIC SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?

Zeolitler mikro gözenekli, alüminosilikat mineralleri ticari adsorbanlar ve katalizörler olarak yaygın olarak kullanılırlar. Zeolit terimi 1756 yılında İsveç mineralojisi uzmanı Axel Fredrik Cronstedt tarafından üretilmiştir. Malzeme stilbitini hızla ısıtarak suyun malzemeyle adsorbe edilmiş büyük miktarlarda buhar ürettiğini gözlemlemiştir. Buna dayanarak, materyal zeoliti, "kaynatmak" anlamına gelen Yunanca ζέω ve "taş" anlamına gelen λίθος deniyordu. Zeolitler doğal olarak bulunur, ancak endüstriyel olarak büyük ölçekte üretilirler. Ekim 2012'den itibaren, 206 benzersiz zeolit çerçevesi tanımlanmıştır ve 40'dan fazla doğal olarak bulunan zeolit çerçevesi bilinmektedir.
İngilizce sözlükte zeolitic sözcüğünün tanımı
Sözlükteki zeolitik tanımı, kalsiyum, sodyum veya potasyumun hidratlanmış alüminyum silikatlarından oluşan, lav akışları ve plutonik kayaçlardaki boşluklarda oluşan, büyük bir grup camsı ikincil mineralden zeolit ile ilgili veya içerdiği anlamına gelir. Zeolitik maddenin diğer tanımı, iyon değişimi ve seçici emici maddeler olarak kullanılan benzer sentetik materyallerin herhangi bir sınıfıyla ilgilidir.
