ZION SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?
Zion
Siyon, aynı zamanda Sion, Tzion veya Tsion da çevrildi, sıklıkla Kudüs'ün eşanlamlısı olarak kullanılan bir yer adı. Söz, ilk önce modern bursa göre M.Ö. 641-540 yıllarına tarihlenen Samuel II, 5: 7'de bulunmuştur. Genellikle Kudüs'ün yakınlarında, David tarafından fethedilen ve David'in şehri olarak adlandırılan aynı adı taşıyan bir Jebusite kalesine dayanan belirli bir dağa atıfta bulundu. Tzion terimi, kalenin bulunduğu Kudüs alanını belirlemeye geldi ve daha sonra Kudüs'teki Solomon Tapınağı, Kudüs şehri ve genelde Gelmesi Gereken Dünya'nın bir metonym oldu. Kabala'da, Birinci, İkinci ve Üçüncü Tapınağın Kutsal Mekanlarında bulunan gerçekliğin ortaya çıktığı manevi nokta olan Tzion'a daha ezoterik referans yapılır.
