Tonga Krallığı,
Pasifik Okyanusu'nun güneyinde bulunan bir ada devletidir. Ada Krallığı'na 169 ada ve mercan adası bağlıdır. Bu adalardan sadece 36 tanesinde nüfus vardır. Tonga Krallığı, okyanusyada bulunan tüm ada ülkelerin aksine hiçbir zaman Avrupalılar tarafından kolonileştirilmemiştir. Ada 1970 yılına kadar dışişleri ve askeri anlamda Birleşik Krallık'a, içişlerinde bağımsız bir ülke iken, bu tarihte tam bağımsızlığını kazanmıştır.
