Бертольд Брехт (/ brɛkt / Німецька мова: (слухати); народився Євген Бертольд Фрідріх Брехт (допомога · інформація), 10 лютого 1898 р. - 14 серпня 1956 р.) Був німецьким поетом, драматургом, режисером театру та марксистом. Практикуючий театр ХХ століття, Брехт зробив внесок у драматургію та театральне виробництво, останній через тури, проведені Берлінським ансамблем - післявоєнним театральним підприємством, керованим Брехтом та його дружиною, давньою співавтором та актрисою Хелене Вайгель.
