Crape
Крейп або креп (Англізійні версії О. Креп) - це шовк, вовна або поліефірна тканина з гаузової текстурою, що має своєрідний хрусткий чи крихкий вигляд. (Слово crap також використовується як англійцеве написання crêpe (блин).) Шовкова крейпа сплетена з жорстко прядиться шовкової пряжі в ясен або природному стані. Існують дві різноманітні текстильні вироби: м'які, кантони або східні кепки, а також тверда чи хрусткова корова. Тонкий креп називається crêpe de chine ("китайський crêpe"). Хвилеподібний вигляд кантонської качки обумовлений особливим способом формування врожаю, пряжа з двох бобінів згорнута разом у зворотному напрямку. Тканина, коли тканина плавна, рівна і рівна, не маючи ніякої зовнішності, але коли гумка згодом виділяється кип'ятінням, воно одразу ж стає м'яким, а врожай, втративши поворот, дає тканині масивну структуру, що становить її відмітну рису. Кантонські дерьми використовуються, або білі, або кольорові, для шарфів та хусток, прикрас кабін та ін.
