Плоска організація - це організація, яка має організаційну структуру з небагатьма рівнями або відсутністю середнього рівня управління персоналом та керівництвом. Ідея полягає в тому, що добре підготовлені працівники будуть більш продуктивними, коли вони більш безпосередньо беруть участь у процесі прийняття рішень, а не тісно контролюють багато рівнів управління.
