Діалектика - це спосіб аргументації для розв'язання розбіжностей, який був основним для європейської та індійської філософії з давніх часів. Слово "діалектика" виникло в Стародавній Греції і стало популярним Платоном у сократських діалогах. Діалектичний метод - це дискурс між двома або більше людьми, які мають різні точки зору щодо суб'єкта, які хочуть встановити правду цього питання, керуючись аргументами. Термін "діалектика" не є синонімом терміну дебатів.
