Диспозиція - це звичка, підготовка, стан готовності або схильність діяти певним чином. Терміни "диспозитивна віра" та "періодичні переконання" в першому випадку відносяться до віри, яка тримається в свідомості, але в даний час не розглядається, а в останньому випадку - до віри, яка в даний час розглядається розумом. У теорії поля Бурдьє в полях дислокації є природними тенденціями кожної особистості займати певну позицію в будь-якій галузі. За своїми розпорядженням немає жорсткого детермінізму. Фактично, габітус - це вибір позицій відповідно до своїх розпоряджень. Проте в ретроспективі завжди можна спостерігати простір можливостей.
