Грінлендський палтус або Гренландська турбота належить до сімейства Pleuronectidae і є єдиним видом роду Reinhardtius. Це глибоководна риба, яка розподіляється в основному з 200 до 1600 м, але була виловлена на більш глибоких і більш ніж 2200 м. Він в основному виявляється у водах з температурою від 1-4 ° С, але також спостерігається при температурах, що не досягають нуля, до -2,1 ° С.
