Антифосфоліпідний синдром
Антифосфоліпідний синдром або антифосфоліпідний синдром антитіл, часто також синдром Хьюза, є аутоімунним, гіперкоагулюючим станом, викликаним антифосфоліпідними антитілами. APS провокує тромби в обох артеріях та венах, а також ускладнення, пов'язані з вагітністю, такі як викидень, мертвонародження, передчасні пологи або важка прееклампсія. Діагностичні критерії вимагають однієї клінічної події, тобто тромбозу або ускладнення вагітності, а також двох позитивних аналізів крові, розміщених щонайменше через 3 місяці. У рідкісних випадках APS призводить до швидкої неефективності органу через генералізований тромбоз; це називається "катастрофічний антифосфоліпідний синдром" і пов'язаний з високим ризиком смерті.
