У комерційному судноплавстві лайм-час - це кількість часу, дозволеного в чарті рейсу для завантаження та розвантаження вантажу. Якщо час проходження часу перевищено, виникає демерраж. Якщо весь період проходження часу не потрібен, відправлення може бути сплачено судновласником фрахтувальнику залежно від умов чартерної партії. Laytime і laydays часто плутають як посилання на ту саму ідею. "Понеділок" означає час, коли корабель повинен подати фрахтувальникові.
