Модальна логіка - це форма формальної логіки, розроблена переважно в 1960-х роках, яка поширює класичну пропозиціональну та предикатну логіку, що включає операторів, що виражають модальність. Модаль-слова, які виражають модальності, кваліфікують твердження.
