У математиці конструктивним доказом є метод доказування, який демонструє існування математичного об'єкта шляхом створення або надання методу для створення об'єкта. Це на відміну від неконструктивного доказу, що доводить існування певного виду об'єкта без прикладу. Деякі неконструктивні докази показують, що якщо певне твердження є помилковим, то виникає суперечність; отже, пропозиція має бути правдою. Проте принцип вибуху був прийнятий в деяких різновидах конструктивної математики, включаючи інтуїтивізм. Конструктивізм - це математична філософія, яка відкидає всі, крім конструктивних доказів математики. Це призводить до обмеження дозволених методів доказування та іншого значення термінології.
