У музиці термін "нотатка" має два основні значення: ▪ Знак, який використовується в музичній нотації для позначення відносної тривалості та висоти звуку; ▪ Сам звуковий сигнал. Примітки - це "атоми" багато західної музики: дискретизація музичних явищ, що полегшують виконання, розуміння та аналіз.
