Закон "Про захист пацієнтів та доступного догляду", який зазвичай називають Законом про доступний догляд або "Обамакар", є федеральним статутом Сполучених Штатів, підписаним президентом Бараком Обамою 23 березня 2010 р. Спільно з Закон про примирення в охороні здоров'я та освіті він представляє найважливіший нормативний ремонт системи охорони здоров'я США з моменту прийняття Medicare і Medicaid в 1965 році. ACA було прийнято з метою підвищення якості та доступності медичного страхування, зниження незастрахованої ставки шляхом розширення державного та приватного страхового покриття та зниження витрат на охорону здоров'я для приватних осіб та уряду. Вона запровадила ряд механізмів, включаючи мандати, субсидії та страхові біржі, спрямовані на підвищення рівня охоплення та доступності. Закон також вимагає, щоб страхові компанії покривали усіх заявників за новими мінімальними стандартами та пропонували ті самі ставки, незалежно від наявних умов або статі.

Think for a moment about what Obamacare has done: The federal government has come up with its own (ever-evolving) definition of 'health insurance,' which now includes free access to sterilization, contraception, and certain abortifacients such as the morning-after pill.
One of the things in Obamacare is that for the elderly, is every five years, you must have end-of-year counseling. Translation, 'suicide counseling.'
Obamacare is going to destroy the elderly by denying care, by even perhaps denying treatment to people who are in catastrophic circumstances.
I haven't heard Obama ask us for our consent when he's trying to ram Obamacare down our throats.
I would do anything and I will continue to do anything I can to stop the train wreck that is Obamacare.
