Визначення parametric у англійська словнику
Перше визначення параметричної в словнику виражає декілька величин як явні функції одного і того ж набору незалежних змінних і еквівалентні деяким прямим функціональним співвідношенням цих величин. Інше визначення параметричної є змінною, поведінка якої не розглядається і яка може для нинішніх цілей розглядатися як постійна, а y в частковій похідній ∂f / ∂ x. Параметричний параметр також відноситься або до характеристик розподілу населення, наприклад його середнє значення, яке відрізняється від характеристики вибірки.
