Китовий сперма або качалот є найбільшим з зубчастих китів та найбільшим зубчастим хижаком. Це єдиний живий член роду Physeter, і один з трьох існуючих видів у сім'ї спермію, а також пігмейний кисіль сперми і карликовий сперматоїд роду Kogia. Зрілі чоловіки середні на 16 метрів в довжину, але деякі можуть досягти 20,5 метрів, головка - до однієї третини довжини тварини. Кисіль сперми харчується перш за все кальмаром. Вона досягає 2250 метрів для видобутку, це другий найглибший сінглінговий ссавець, що слідує лише за ковчегами Кюв'є.
