Поліген, множинний чинник, множинна спадковість генів або кількісний ген - це група неаллельних генів, які разом впливають на фенотипічну рису. Точні лоці або ідентичності неаллельних генів часто невідомі біологам. Однак досягнення статистичної методології та високої послідовності пропускної спроможності дозволяють дослідникам знайти гени кандидатів за ознакою. Ці гени, як правило, також плейотропні.
