Радон
Радон - це хімічний елемент з символом Rn і атомним номером 86. Це радіоактивний, безбарвний, без запаху, несприятливий благородний газ, що природно зустрічається як непрямий розпад продукту урану або торію. Його найбільш стабільний ізотоп, 222 Рн, має період напіврозпаду 3,8 дня. Радон - одне з найбільш густих речовин, що залишається газом при нормальних умовах. Це також є єдиним газом у звичайних умовах, який має тільки радіоактивні ізотопи, і вважається небезпечним для здоров'я через його радіоактивність.
