Scombridae
Scombridae - це сімейство скумбей, тунців та бонітосів, тому включає в себе багато найвідоміших і знайомих риб. Сім'я складається з 51 виду з 15 родів та двох підродин. Всі види знаходяться в підродині Scombrinae, за винятком баранячих риб, що є єдиним членом підродини Gasterochismatinae. Скомбриди мають два спинні плавці, а також серія фінет позаду заднього спинного плавця та анального плавця. Каудальний плавник сильно розділений і жорсткий, з тонкими, ригельними основами.
