Сероконверсія
Сероконверсія - це розвиток виявлених специфічних антитіл до мікроорганізмів в сироватці крові в результаті інфекції або імунізації. Перед початком сероконверсії антиген є поширеним, і відповідне антитіло не виявляється в сироватці. Після сероконверсії антитіло стає поширеною, а відповідний антиген більше не виявляється в сироватці. Комплекси антиген-антитіла, утворені в організмі, швидко видаляються кількома імунними механізмами, тому лише сироватка крові виявляється лише домінуючою партією імунного комплексу. Вікно періоду. У точній точці сероконверсії як вільних компонентів імунокомплексу, так і антигену та антитіла присутні при відносно низьких рівнях у сироватці. Тому вони можуть бути невиявлені відповідними діагностичними тестами і дали помилково-негативний результат для інфікування. Серологія використовується для визначення позитивності антитіл. Серостатус це термін, що позначає присутність або відсутність певних антитіл у крові людини. До сероконверсії аналіз крові є серонегативним для антитіла; після сероконверсії аналіз крові є серопозитивним для антитіла.
