Сигурд
Сигурд є легендарним героєм скандинавської міфології, а також центральним героєм в самі "Вельссунга". Найдавніші досі репрезентації для легенд набувають живописної форми із семи рубежів у Швеції, зокрема, рельєфу Рамсунда та Гек Руністон. Як Зигфрид, він є одним з героїв німецьких нібелунглістів, а також опери Ріхарда Вагнера Зігфрід та Геттердаммерун. Як Сивард Снаренсвен він був героєм декількох середньовічних скандинавських балад. Назва Сигурр не таке ж ім'я, як німець Зигфрид. Стародавньою норвезькою формою буде Сигурур, форма, яка з'являється в різьбленні Рамсунда, що зображує легенду.
