Керований кремнієвим випрямлячем
Випрямляч, керований кремнієвим, являє собою чотиришаровий регулятор струму твердого тіла. Назва "керований кремнієвий випрямляч" - торговельне найменування "General Electric" для тиристорного типу. SCR був розроблений групою енергетиків під керівництвом Гордона Холла та комерціалізований Френком У. "Біллом" Гуцвіллером у 1957 році.
